A 39-YR-OLD man was arrested and charged after gardaí seized cannabis with a combined street value of €810,000.

Detectives from the Garda National Drugs Unit stopped a Northern registered vehicle travelling Northbound on the M1 near the Drogheda Toll Plaza at approx 9.30am yesterday.

The driver and only occupant of the car was arrested. He will appear before Dublin District Court at 10.30am today.
