The rector who baptised the youngest child of Ruth and Kevin Burke, killed in a helicopter crash while en route to Ireland this week, has said the community in England where they lived is “in disarray”.

The family of a boy who died after he was hit by a speedboat in the North tonight said they were devastated.

A six-year-old boy struck by a speedboat at a beach in County Down on Monday has died in hospital.

Police in the North say they are treating as suspicious the deaths of a man and a woman in a house fire in Co Down.
