Gardaí have released the names of the two people killed in separate road accidents in Co Longford yesterday.

FIVE people — including two children — were killed in weekend car crashes, bringing the number of people who have died on the State’s roads this year to 112.

A nine-year-old girl died tonight when a car in which she was a passenger overturned in Co Longford.
