Longford road crash victims named

Gardaí have released the names of the two people killed in separate road accidents in Co Longford yesterday.

Nine-year-old Michelle Glancy of Clonterm died when the car in which she was travelling overturned near Cloonturk on the Longford to Kilashee Road.

The victim who died in the other accident was 22-year-old Patrick Higgins of Drumming, Ardagh in Co Longford.

He was killed when he was hit by a car at Carrickboy in the early hours of yesterday morning.
