An Egyptian has been identified as a possible suicide bomber in the Sharm el Sheikh terror attacks in the first breakthrough in the investigation.

THE Egyptian authorities received information about an imminent terrorist attack in Sharm el-Sheik days ahead of the devastating bombings, security officials said yesterday.

Investigators have identified a body they suspect of being a suicide bomber in the weekend terror attacks in Sharm El Sheikh. He is believed to be an Egyptian with Islamic militant ties.
