FIVE people, including a Co Kerry resident, who spent almost a week stranded at sea in a tiny inflatable life-raft yesterday described their terrifying ordeal after surviving storms and 30ft waves.

A spokesman for the British Maritime and Coastguard Agency said the vessel was owned by French woman Stephanie Preux and was bound for Cherbourg when it left Co Kerry on September 6.
