A special environment court in India has dished out jail sentences to 22 people for killing endangered animals in northern India, wildlife officials said today.

Bollywood star Salman Khan was today charged with rash and negligent driving after his car allegedly jumped on to a pavement, killing one person and injuring three others who were sleeping there.
