Beverley’s meeting on Tuesday has been abandoned due to a waterlogged track.

Heavy rain is starting to disrupt the racing programme in Ireland and the UK, with today’s meeting at Redcar washed out and inspections called at three of tomorrow’s fixtures in Britain.

Beverley have cut the safety limit for their five-furlong races to 14 after deciding to doll off an area of the track on the inside rail.
