Brian Kennedy is selling a sizeable amount of his private art collection.

There is confidence at Woodward’s that the Atkinson painting of the Royal Yacht Squadron escorting Queen Victoria to Cork Harbour in August 1849, (dubbed ‘Famine Queen’ at the time), will find a buyer at auction today. 

THREE paintings by Irish artist Jack B Yeats, owned by the Allen family of Ballymaloe House in Cork, sold for €1.38 million under the hammer in Dublin yesterday.
