Two men have been jailed for eight years each for their part in an international drug smuggling operation to bring almost €5m worth of cocaine into Ireland.

A German and a Corkman admitted yesterday to having €4.8m worth of cocaine in North Cork last year.

TWO men have appeared before a special sitting of Fermoy District Court in connection with one of the largest finds of cocaine in the history of the state.
