An excellent homemade film featuring a couple of knockout performances from young unknowns O’Neill and Curry, playing kids from dysfunctional families who take off to explore the mean streets of Dublin during Christmas.

Oscar-nominated Irish actor Stephen Rea is appearing in a new Christmas film being shot around Dublin.

The subject matter may be downbeat - a couple of druggie pals (played excellently by O’Halloran, who also wrote it, and Murphy) wander the Dublin streets looking for enough cash to get their fix - but this isn’t a bad local film.
