My parents raised me to respect everyone equally. My church taught me that Jesus loves everyone equally. Why then does the leader of one of the churches in Ireland believe that me marrying the person I love will damage my faith?

In reference to Father Tom’s Letter ( June 23), he asked “Could any sincere Catholic/Christian vote for the Civil Partnership Bill or support it in any way?”.
