A ‘yes’ vote will not damage the church

My parents raised me to respect everyone equally. My church taught me that Jesus loves everyone equally. Why then does the leader of one of the churches in Ireland believe that me marrying the person I love will damage my faith?

I do not believe that extending civil marriage so lesbian, gay and bisexual citizens will in any way damage any church in Ireland and I will be voting “yes” on May 22.
