A Northern Ireland man accused of membership of an illegal organisation was refused bail in the Special Criminal Court today to prevent the commission of a serious offence.

A Northern Ireland man was charged at a special sitting of the Special Criminal Court in Dublin tonight with membership of an illegal organisation and possession of ammunition.
