IN a letter (Irish Examiner, December 29), I challenged An Bord Pleanála, the EPA and Indaver Ireland Ltd to deny that the proposed Ringaskiddy incinerators will discharge toxic ash and poisonous emissions to the atmosphere.

CORK people must realise that the toxic waste incinerator permitted by the Environmental Protection Agency for Cork Harbour is, in fact, equipment for the processing of toxic substances and hazardous materials (not domestic waste).

MAY I suggest that Environment Minister Martin Cullen reconsider the location of the proposed incinerator for the Boyne Valley area and relocate it from his preferred site near Newgrange to the Hill of Tara.
