I WISH to clarify for both Mr McLay and Mr McGrath (Irish Examiner letters, January 1) that the wind industry in Germany is indeed a failure and this has been well documented.

I AM conducting research into the effects of industrial wind turbines on humans, wildlife and the environment. I would like to talk to people anywhere in Ireland who have lived near wind turbines.

MONDAY last was World Environment Day, and only for Dick Warner’s article in the Irish Examiner, many people would not have known it.
