Portrush master chef, George McAlpin, had his first taste of Formula 3 power this morning at Silverstone.

George McAlpin extended his Ford of Ireland Ford Zetec Championship lead courtesy of a win on the eighth round in Kirkistown.

The seventh round of the Ford of Ireland Ford Zetec Championship at Kirkistown has been won by Michael Devaney.

Yvan Muller notched up his second win of the day at Mondello Park to move into a 27-point lead in the British Touring Car Championship.

After claiming pole position, George McAlpin went on to win the third round of the Irish Formula Ford Zetec Championship at Kirkistown today.
