IRISH writer-director Juanita Wilson’s As If I Am Not There (Ireland/16/109 mins) is a harrowing tale of one woman’s degradation during the Bosnian war.

Even though the plot is so convoluted you cannot really take the film seriously there is still a lot to enjoy in this Bourne-like thriller - it’s daft but it still delivers enough twists to satisfy.
