A MULTI-MILLION-DOLLAR law case will open in a New York courtroom next Monday when the family of a Limerick woman who died as a result of botched plastic surgery begin an action against a disgraced surgeon.

A NEW York law firm is preparing a multi-million dollar lawsuit on behalf of the family of Limerick woman Kay Cregan, who died after undergoing plastic surgery carried out by Dr Michael Sachs at his Manhattan clinic.

THE husband of Kay Cregan believes his wife underwent the plastic surgery that led to her death as a surprise for him.
