Family of fatal plastic surgery woman to sue doctor

A NEW York law firm is preparing a multi-million dollar lawsuit on behalf of the family of Limerick woman Kay Cregan, who died after undergoing plastic surgery carried out by Dr Michael Sachs at his Manhattan clinic.

Mrs Cregan, aged 42, had facial surgery on March 14 last and developed complications the following day.

She was admitted by ambulance to a nearby hospital and was pronounced dead on March 17.
