Organisers couldn’t have asked for a better 25th birthday celebration for the big midlands agricultural show.

Swiss judge Marc Henri Guillaume picked Laurelmore Duplex Impala, shown by John Barrett & Sons of Cork, as his Alltech FBD Senior Cow Champion at last weekend’s Emerald Expo 2015 at Punchestown, Co Kildare.

The overwhelming delight of the Frawley family upon winning their Irish Examiner National Dairy Show 2013 Supreme Champion two-in-a-row with Ridgefield Dundee Portea last weekend signified the high standing of the Millstreet competition.
