Impala is two-in-a-row Emerald Expo champion
It was a two-in-a-row success as champion and best udder cow for Impala, which also took the IHFA exhibitor bred champion prize.
Gorey, Co Wexford exhibitor Philip Jones showed the Reserve Champion, Hallow Atwood Twizzle, and the Honourable Mention cow, Hallow Advent Twizzle 3.
It was also a good day for Bill O’Keeffe, Churchclara, Co Kilkenny, with a clean sweep of the Irish Pure Friesian championship, reserve, and honourable mention with Blackisle Laura 45, Churchclara Performer Laura, and Churchclara Blackie Circus.
Bill was also awarded the ICMSA Premier Exhibitor title.
Philip Jones was the Osmonds Premier Breeder, also winning the ABS Intermediate Championship, with Hallow Atwood Twizzle.
The Volac Junior Champion was Evergreen Seven Lauran, shown by Kilkenny exhibitors Liam and Sandra Murphy.
The YMA handling championship, sponsored by Volac was won by Lauren O’Toole, Bagnelstown, Co Carlow.
