The mother of two boys murdered by their father says she wants convicted killers to wait longer for parole.

Gardaí are likely to seek charges today against Sanjeev Chada in connection with the murder of his children, Eoghan and Ruairi.

Parents gathered together in little huddles and went in and out of Ballinkillen NS yesterday, to hear how best they can tell their own children about what happened to Eoghan and Ruairí Chada, while just a few hundred metres away Kathleen Chada was attempting to take in the enormity of her loss.

Relatives were last night trying to comfort Kathleen Chada, the devastated mother of Eoghan, 10, and Ruairi, 5, whose bodies were discovered just hours after gardaí issued a major alert in a bid to establish their whereabouts.
