Éadaoin Ní Challaráin has just missed out on a final place in the Women's K1 Slalom.

Spiddal canoeist Éadaoin Ní Challaráin will begin tomorrow's K1 Kayak Slalom semi-finals (8.40am, Irish time) after finishing right on the cut-off point in the heats at the Olympic centre.

Irish swimmer Michael Williamson failed to qualify for the semi-finals of the 200metres breaststroke in Athens this morning.
