BRINDLEY Advertising, which holds the lucrative Government print advertising account, has been sold to a British firm in a deal worth up to €12 million.

BRINDLEY advertising, one of the oldest and biggest agencies the state, saw its turnover fall by 23% in 2003 because of a cutback in Government spending in recruitment ads.
