As expected, Meath full-back Kevin Reilly has been ruled out of Sunday’s Leinster semi-final against Kildare.

Tipperary, already relegated from Division 3, took Offaly with them yesterday as Peter Creedon’s first game in charge of the Premier County produced a deserved three-point win.

They may have finished the game with 13 men but Kerry still produced a controlled performance to arrest their recent run of underage defeats to Tipperary in last night’s Cadbury’s Munster U21FC quarter-final in Semple Stadium.

THE Munster U21FC trophy is destined to return to a traditional force this season after Cork ensured a final meeting with Kerry for the first time since 2004 by dismantling defending champions Tipperary at the semi-final stage last night in Páirc Uí Rinn.

AS EXPECTED, Cork qualified for a July 4 Munster final meeting with old rivals Kerry after this semi-final win over Tipperary in Semple Stadium last night, but they were made to earn it.

LIMERICK and Tipperary are both bidding to break the stranglehold that Cork and Kerry have exerted in the Munster minor football grade, when the semi-finals of the competition take place tonight.
