A Boston policeman found himself on something of a busman’s holiday as he chased and detained a man who allegedly threw a brick at a passing car and head-butted a man working at a restaurant in Cork City.

Inter-county attacker PJ Banville hauled reigning champions Horeswood back into the title race as they ended up with a fully merited 2-13 to 0-10 victory over Fethard in their Wexford SFC clash on Saturday evening.
