2002 Junior champions Galway have taken the All-Ireland Ladies senior title in front of 20,706 at Croke Park today, as second half goals from captain Annette Clarke and substitute Edel Concannon helped them to a 3-8 to 0-11 success over Dublin.

Two-time All-Ireland-winning goalkeeper John O'Leary has guided Dublin through to this year's ladies decider in his first year in charge, after Fiona Corcoran struck the crucial goal in a 2-14 to 3-8 semi-final win over Kerry in Portlaoise.
