Three cab drivers who failed in a legal challenge to the deregulation of the taxi industry in 2000 face a multimillion legal bill after a High Court order.

The former president of the National Taxi Drivers Union yesterday said he hoped the High Court would consider the debts suffered by taxi drivers who lost their challenge yesterday when it decides the costs involved in the case.
