AFTER a drinking session with friends, a businessman drove his 4x4 from a Co Limerick pub on the wrong side of the road and ploughed into a car killing a retired Clonmel secondary school teacher, Limerick Circuit Court heard.

The GAC has fined the Cork and Laois County Boards €5,000 each for their parts in the brawl that developed in the aftermath of the All-Ireland MFC quarter-final drawn encounter at the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick a fortnight ago.
