Kerry junior football boss Sean Moynihan insists several of his players are good enough to make the step-up to the Kingdom’s senior football ranks next season.

The Mayo junior footballers are back in the All-Ireland JFC final for the first time since 2001 after a comfortable nine-point victory over the All-Britain champions in Manchester on Saturday.

Kerry’s affinity with the All-Ireland Club IFC – not to mention Croke Park – continued yesterday with Milltown-Castlemaine claiming the county’s third title in the tournament’s eight-year history.

NINE points from Davitts captain Michael Conroy propelled the Mayo champions into the All-Ireland Club intermediate football final as they ran out easy winners over Éire Óg, Greystones in Tullamore yesterday.
