Around 90 jobs are to be lost with the closure of Keating’s bakery in Kanturk Co Cork, it emerged tonight.

PROFITS at consumer foods group Unilever Ireland rose by €23 million last year, according to results just filed at the company’s office.

Lakeland Dairies has reported operating profits of €5.2m on turnover which increased by 22% to €411m, for the financial year to December 31, 2003.
