Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has been moved to a hospital closer to his home after showing good progress this week.

Reading duo Stephen Hunt and Ibrahima Sonko are almost certain to escape punishment from the Football Association after their controversial challenges left Chelsea goalkeepers Petr Cech and Carlo Cudicini in hospital.

Goalkeeper Petr Cech underwent surgery for a depressed fracture of the skull after being knocked unconscious in Chelsea's victory at Reading on Saturday.
