Cork-based tech company Poppulo has raised €30 million in funding from US venture capital firm Susquehanna Growth Equity (SGE) as it looks to boost its presence in overseas markets.

Almost 100 jobs have been announced across six companies in Cork and Dublin.

SMS application developer Phorest has acquired Irish mobile phone software company Wondertxt for an undisclosed amount.
