Reigning champion Flat trainer in Britain, Richard Hannon is to retire at the end of the year.

GILDED leads a three-strong challenge from Richard Hannon’s yard as the trainer targets a seventh success in the £135,000 Weatherbys Super Sprint at Newbury today.

Last month’s Queen Mary Stakes heroine Gilded heads a list of 78 horses still engaged in the Weatherbys Super Sprint, run at Newbury on July 22.
