Robinsons squash firm Britvic today said its full year performance would beat expectations but warned of continued troubles in its Irish business.

Soft drinks maker Britvic Ireland announced its preliminary results for the year to end September posting annual revenues of £200.7m (€237.6m), up 6.2% on 2007.

SOFT drinks group Britvic, which bought C&C’s soft drinks division in 2007, said earnings will meet market expectations for the full year.

The Britvic group, including Britvic Ireland, saw its revenues grow by 28.6% from €353.6m

Drinks group Britvic today said it planned to spend £170m (€249m) on some of Ireland’s leading brands, including Ballygowan bottled water.
