Britvic’s revenue slips 5% to €95m
While the British-headquartered group said the Irish market remains “particularly challenged”, with volumes down by 7% during the period in question, the recent completion of its restructuring programme here and the expansion of its wholesale operations will “underpin profitability for the second half of the year and beyond”.
“The financial benefits of the recently announced restructuring will be predominantly delivered in the second half of the financial year, underpinning the full year profit delivery,” the group’s management added.
