MYSPACE is expanding its programme for letting advertisers target their pitches using personal details on users’ profile pages.

Online search engine giant Google will this week tie-up a $1.6bn deal to scoop up video sharing website YouTube, it was reported today.

Google said today it will provide search and advertising on MySpace.com and a host of other websites owned by News Corporation’s Fox Interactive Media arm.
