A TOTAL of 133 people will lose their jobs because of the closure of a coronary stent factory in Cashel, Co Tipperary, a decision owners Johnson & Johnson blamed on “evolving market dynamics”.

133 jobs are to go in Co Tipperary with the closure of the Johnson and Johnson plant.

Cordis Corporation, a Johnson & Johnson company, is to establish a state-of-the-art development and manufacturing facility, for Cashel, Co Tipperary, it was announced today.
