Former multiple champion Ruby Walsh cut Davy Russell’s lead in the title-race to seven (100-93) when completing a pre-Punchestown double on Turban and Living Next Door in Cork last night.

Trainer John Kiely earned the plaudits at Cork yesterday evening after recording a near 20-1 double courtesy of Saint Gervais and Kilbarry Beauty.

IT’s a long way from Banbridge in Co Down to Clonmel, but it paid off for trainer, Jerry Cosgrave, when his Dick Naylor won the Irish Stallion Farms’ EBF Maiden Hurdle at Clonmel yesterday.
