Midleton Food and Drink Festival is a major achievement for the East Cork area and for the organisers, with over 25,000 people attending the Festival annually since its launch in 2004. 

One of the great national initiatives of recent times is Culture Night (September 18) and, most fittingly, food has come to play a great part in proceedings. 

TWO wineries plus three cities equals a surefire treat for wine lovers this month: The most promising wine events in the autumn line-up (so far) have to be the tastings in Cork, Dublin and Kilkenny featuring wines from Langmeil in the Barossa region of Australia and Huia in Marlborough, New Zealand.
