Ireland’s mixed doubles badminton pair of Chloe and Sam Magee have given themselves a lifeline in their final group match at the European Games in Minsk.

Jenny Egan has narrowly missed out on a kayaking medal at the European Games in Baku, being denied in canoe sprint’s longest race by less than half a second, finishing fourth.
