A campaign that aims to get discounts for consumers via collective bargaining says it will now look to encourage energy companies to reward loyal customers as well as new account holders.

The campaigners who secured deals for over tens of thousands of people on their electricity bills are looking to do the same for health insurance.

Almost 16,000 people have signed up to the Big Energy Switch — just over a week after the campaign to unlock group discounted electricity and gas was launched.
