All five Irish boxers have made this mornings weigh-in for this afternoons European Union Championships finals at the National Stadium in Dublin.

The fifth European Union Boxing Championships resume at the National Stadium in Dublin today with twenty quarter-final bouts down to be decided over the course of two sessions beginning at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.

The Irish Senior Boxing squad completed their final training session at the National Stadium in Dublin this evening ahead of the 2007 European Union Senior Boxing Championships which begin at the National Stadium tomorrow.

Irish boxers Peter Brady and David Joe Joyce had to be content with silver at the European Union Cadet Championships this evening after they both lost their finals in Sardinia Italy.
