Limerick and Tipperary have reached a new "home and away" agreement for Munster hurling championship first round and semi-final games as well as All-Ireland qualifiers.

All-star hurler Brendan Cummins is set to renew his role as a Tipperary dual player having agreed to play football in the new year.
