E-tickets are the way to go

THE number of Malév routes accessible with electronic tickets has increased, and the airline has broadened the facility to include many flights using partner airlines.

So far, Malév, who operate out of Cork and Dublin airports, has signed interline agreements with 17 airlines allowing issuance of printed and e-tickets on each other’s routes. The purpose of setting up interline agreements is to guarantee airlines mutually accept each other’s air tickets.

Malév will soon join oneworld alliance, where customers can fly to around 600 cities in 134 countries with an e-ticket.

The airline offers e-ticketing from both Irish airports to Budapest and onward to 28 Malév-operated destinations with further destinations coming online monthly.
