SUBSCRIBEThe coat

Luxury Irish tailoring house The Landskein, founded by Kerry woman Anna Guerin in 2019, has long championed exclusive fabrics made using Italian and Irish yarns, from superfine merino and lambswool to Donegal-woven tweed. This season, the label unveils its largest collection to date, with 40 pieces spanning coats, blazers and scarves. The Verne, a 100% lambswool herringbone coat in rich burgundy, has shot straight to the top of our wishlist. €1,150. Available to shop in person at Brown Thomas in Dublin, Cork and Limerick, and at select boutiques nationwide.
The seasonal shower treat

We might be biased, but we think Halloween brings some of Lush’s best limited edition releases. Our favourite? Lord of Misrule. A spicy-sweet blend of patchouli, black pepper and vanilla, its indulgent scent is made for warming evening showers. Rich in wheatgerm oil, it also provides some much-needed moisture in these colder months. From €10.
The supermarket treat

Dublin brothers Robin and Terry Jones are behind one of our favourite supermarket cookie cups — deep-filled cookies with a soft, melting centre. Available in Dunnes Stores, they come in five flavours, from Milk Chocolate and Chocolate Caramel to Red Velvet, Cookies & Cream and Rocky Road. Best enjoyed warm. €7.50 for a pack of three.
The cocktail queen

Looking for a personalised gift with a difference? Craft cocktails will tailor their labels to create a gift worth giving. Our favourite? The espresso martini at home option — vodka, rich coffee liqueur, smooth coffee and a touch of vanilla. Bottled and ready to serve, simply chill, shake, pop and pour into a coupe glass. For the finishing touch, garnish with three coffee beans. 200ml, serves two, €9.37
The make up must

Haus labs has finally arrived in Ireland. Lady Gaga’s cult vegan and cruelty-free cosmetics brand is one of the most adored celebrity beauty launches on the market.
The quality is so high it has long superseded the founder’s namesake.
Opening its doors at Brown Thomas Dublin this month, expect queues for the revered foundations and concealers.
One for the Christmas stocking.
The art space

Cork artist Cora Murphy has opened the gorgeous olive green door to her showroom in Cork. 42 Douglas Street — or Painting Towers as it is affectionately becoming known — is open by appointment (with zero obligation to buy anything). Cora will open her showroom and studio every first Thursday from 5.30pm-7.30pm.
“Thursday lates are practically Fridays so it’s the perfect time to swing by, say hi and have a tipple or a fizzy. You never know who you’d meet,” says Cora. “There is genuinely no obligation to buy anything. It’s taken so long to get the space up and running, it’s lovely to have people in to warm up the space.” Truly, the host with most.
The cosy couch

We love this Coop Taupe Fabric Corner Sofa, 1599, from EZ Living Interiors. Think contemporary design, spacious comfort and everyday practicality. The neutral taupe finish allows it to integrate effortlessly into both modern and traditional homes.
EZ Living Interiors is celebrating a landmark achievement after securing three prestigious awards at the Retail Excellence Awards, including the coveted National Retailer of the Year title.
The company was recognised across multiple categories, including Large Online Retailer of the Year and Furniture Store of the Year for its Sandyford Store.
