When we were pregnant with our first child, Maverick, we knew that we couldn’t afford to live in Dublin anymore.

My husband, Paddy, really wanted a baby. I wasn’t massively open to it because I loved my life. I’m a musician, I was on the road all the time, doing gigs. We’d gone to a fertility clinic but they said there was no chance I’d get pregnant. It made me want to prove them wrong!
