Cork's Miriam Mullins among Irish creators up for TikTok award

Corkonian Miriam Mullins boasts 2.2 million followers and 142.4 million likes on TikTok.
Cork’s Miriam Mullins is among the shortlisted creators for this year’s TikTok Awards UK & Ireland 2025.
The awards celebrate 72 standout creators across 12 categories whose creativity, impact, and influence make the TikTok community so unique.
Together, the nominees reach more than 83 million followers, showcasing the extraordinary breadth of talent across the UK and Ireland.
Corkonian Miriam Mullins boasts 2.2 million followers and 142.4 million likes on the platform alone.
The content creator, who competed on Dancing with the Stars in 2024, first rose to fame in 2020 during the pandemic when she posted prank videos and lip-sync videos.
She joined Cork’s RedFM as a presenter in 2023, and continues to create lifestyle, fashion and beauty content on TikTok.
She is one of 12 Irish creators nominated for the TikTok awards, representing the very best of #GaelTok at the awards ceremony on Thursday, November 13.

From fashion and food to books and entertainment, the nominees are shaping trends, sparking conversations, and sharing Irish culture with audiences around the world.
Speaking on the nominations announcement, head of content operations, Ireland, Rebecca O’Keeffe, said: “This year, we're proud to celebrate 12 outstanding Irish creators nominated for the TikTok Awards UK & Ireland 2025.
“These nominees exemplify the vibrant #GaelTok community on the app, inspiring and entertaining millions worldwide while highlighting Ireland's culture and creativity. Congratulations to all of the nominees and we can’t wait to see who is crowned winners for 2025.”
Last year, the inaugural TikTok Awards UK & Ireland 2024 celebrated two Irish winners; 'King of Chemo' Iain Ward (@thekingofchemo) took home the Voice for Change award, and John Nellis (@johnnellis) took home the Sport Creator of the Year award.
Irish nominees will travel to London, where the 2025 TikTok Awards will take place on Thursday, November 13.
The event, which will be attended by guests from across the TikTok community, will be hosted by broadcaster AJ Odudu with a live performance from British hip-hop duo Rizzle Kicks.
People can also join in on the fun from the comfort of their own sofa, with behind-the-scenes content from creators and partners, exclusive red carpet interviews by Zainab Jiwa, and full access to the live action from 8pm on @TikTok_UK.
The voting hub is now open and will close on Wednesday, October 29.
