Cork influencer Miriam Mullins surprised her Instagram followers on Thursday evening by revealing that she had gotten engaged to her long-term boyfriend, Tiaan.
The former contestant shared the news by posting a video of the special moment.
Tiaan got down on one knee while the pair were holidaying in his native South Africa.
The 28-year-old revealed that her partner surprised her with a ring while they were filming an ‘outfit of the day’ video for her social media.
“YES YES YES !!! We have a wedding to plan,” she wrote alongside the post. “The biggest shock I thought I was filming a couples OOTD.”
Later, the TikTok star shared a picture of her smiling alongside her now-fiancé.
“I’m literally still in shock that this happened,” she said. “We are so happy [and] can’t wait for the next chapter.”
The pair met while they were living in Florida before the covid-19 pandemic.
A video of them reuniting after travel restrictions were lifted in 2022 received 2.2M views on TikTok.
